Dining Facilities
The Ivy Inn offers casual, elegant dining for all seasons.
The 18th century house has four dining rooms and a tented garden patio, which is available the last week of March into November.
The Shenandoah Room is our main dining room on the ground floor.
For private parties it can seat between 25 -40 people.
This dining room also has the bar area off to the side.
The garden patio is set up through the two sets of French doors off of the Shenandoah room.
Many times the two areas are incorporated together for larger events of 60 people and more.
Our Tented Garden Patio is used from March till November. It has sides and a heater to use during the cooler months.
There are ceiling fans as well to help in the warmer months. For special catered events the patio can seat from 25 to 65 people.
For Wedding Receptions, the patio area is often used for bands and dancing.
The Winchester Room is one of the 3 dining rooms upstairs.
For private dinners it can seat between 20-30 people.
The Blue Ridge Room is upstairs next to the Winchester Room.
For private dinners it can seat between 12-20 people.
There is an open doorway between the Blue Ridge Room and the Winchester Room. Sometimes
these two rooms are used together for large dinners and/or cocktail parties.
And finally, the Williamsburg Room, which is tucked in a corner upstairs, will also seat between 12-25 people.
All of the different dining areas can be used together in varying combinations.
We also rent out the whole house for larger events.
